Veteran Detroit DJ killed in house fire

Veteran Detroit DJ CJ Lee Jr. died in a house fire Tuesday morning. Lee is a long time DJ who played at numerous clubs all over Detroit under the name DJ Shordy. Lee leaves behind two children. The firefighters found a pit bull that was badly injured inside the home and it will be donated to the local pit bull rescue. He was a recognized figure in the world of DJs. A few weeks before his death, he decided to start a graphics design company in order to transition away from DJing.
